The nationally accredited Dental Assisting Certificate IV has been developed
in association with the Australian Dental Association, Dental Assistants
Education Council of Australia and Dental Professionals from all States,
to meet the requirements of National Dental Standards. This is part of
the National Health Training Package (HLT07) introduced in 2007. It
provides a high level of competence in technical skills, patient care,
infection control and knowledge to meet current and future needs of the
Dental Profession. Graduates will be prepared for immediate employment
in Private and Government Dental Institutions.
DNA Kingston Training is a Registered Training Organisation

Recognition of Prior Learning and Recognition of Current Competencies
provides Students with the opportunity to be recognised for skills and
knowledge they may have attained already in the work place or through
courses or general life skills. Once evidence has been provided and documented
you can then be fast tracked through certain modules and be rewarded with
credit for these modules.
The courses are then be customised to the Students requirements to 'fill
the gaps' in training. Completing a full qualification in Dental Assisting,
Dental Reception, Dental Practice Management, Dental Radiography what
ever the course may be.
All enrolled Students will have the opportunity to apply for RPL &
RCC. This is a process that recognises your past experience, skills
and knowledge you may have attained through out your working like or schooling
and may reduce the course duration. This enables you to achieve competencies
for the modules in the programme without the formal training process and
assessment.
